SPECIAL POST-AIRSHOW ANNOUNCEMENT:

An incident occurred at this year's Wings Over Gillespie airshow in which two AD Skyraiders that were performing in the airshow disobeyed the rules regarding the boundaries of the performance area and/or altitude restrictions. The FAA is investigating the incident. Anyone who observed the incident on that Sunday is requested to contact the FAA and let them know what they saw.

Air Group One has been dismayed at the negative and false reports that have been published in the press and spread by word of mouth regarding this incident. We wish to set the record straight, and now have our position paper available for you on this website. Click HERE to read the article.

The CAF is a group of men and women, from all walks of life, dedicated to the preservation of American air power and history of World War II aviation. There are currently over 9,000 CAF members in 27 states and three countries.

Air Group One is the San Diego Wing of the CAF. They are headquartered at their "Military Flying Museum" located on Gillespie Field at 1860 Joe Crosson Drive in El Cajon, California.

Members work together to share the history of this era, to bring a deeper understanding of the sacrifices men and women made to secure the freedoms we enjoy today. They also work to preserve, restore and maintain World War II era aircraft... to "Keep 'Em Flying."

Air Group One proudly presents its Wings Over Gillespie Air Show each year at Gillespie Field. Proceeds from the show benefit the museum.
